The Cardiac Surgery Certification exam
As may you known, the Cardiac Surgery Certification exam is administered by the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses and is certifies specialty nurses in the realm of cardiology so that they may work in conjunction with cardiac surgery patients. The test centers on potential problems that may arise with cardiac surgery patients post-operation and how to solve them.
If you wish to take the Cardiac Surgery Certification exam, then must complete 1,750 hours of clinical practice. Results are given to the test taker in the form of a \\\”pass\\\” or \\\”fail\\\”, judged by the AACN.
The Cardiac Surgery Certification exam is computer based and is scheduled through the applicant\\\’s closest Prometric™ testing center.
Applicants have 2 hours to complete the 90 multiple-choice questions. Only 75 of those questions are counted toward the overall score.
