The Nurse Executive exam
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Nurse Executive exam is a computer based, 3.5 hour exam consisting of 175 questions (150 scored questions and 25 unscored pretest questions).
The American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Nurse Executive board certification examination is a competency based examination that provides a valid and reliable assessment of the entry-level clinical knowledge and skills of the nurse charged with the managing the daily operations of a unit or service line. Once you complete eligibility requirements to take the certification examination and successfully pass the exam, you are awarded the credential: Nurse Executive-Board Certified (NE-BC).
